Welcome To Roatan

Roatan Island is easily accessible from the U.S. mainland, with most flights being a short 2-hour trip from Ft. Lauderdale, Miami, Orlando, or Houston. Once departing the airport, Las Verandas is a brief 20 minute drive from Roatan International Airport. While the property is situated in the exclusive Pristine Bay Development, we are surrounded by the rich and authentic Honduran culture and our natural reefs just offshore, You're going to love Roatan! 

Roatan Island Transportation

Roatan International Airport serves direct and/or connecting flights by Delta, United, American, Continental, and TACA airlines from cities throughout the U.S. and Canada. Flights from North America also arrive at mainland Honduras airports with commuter flights to Roatan. Charter flights are also available.

 

Should you choose to fly into Honduras’ La Ceiba Airport (on the north coast of Honduras), you can take the ferry boat over to Roatan. Galaxy Wave, the ferry service, offers trips between La Ceiba and The Island twice a day. The duration of the journey is about one hour and 20 minutes.

Hotel Transportation Service

Las Verandas offers transportation services, for hotel guests, to and from Roatan International Airport. The fee is $20.00 USD per person, one way, and must be reserved at least 24 hours prior to arrival and departure from the hotel. Please be advised that the hotel van is based on availability and runs on a schedule. Van service is not provided outside of the below scheduled times.

If these times do not work for you, we can assist in reserving a taxi at your own convenience and cost. Our staff also assists with rental car service, at your own cost, if preferred.

 

Las Verandas is located on the north shore of Roatan in the French Harbour town area within the Pristine Bay Development (entry sign on the left-hand side)..
